After 30 years of introducing people to the aviation industry putting what I do int a book has been an extremely rewarding experience. It has provided increased opportunities to promote my business and assist more people to achieve their dream to become a licensed pilot.

This book has given me a great sense of achieving by fulfilling a goal I long had. On the practical side, this book is a great companion for my real estate brokerage business and adds to my credibility as well as providing our newly hired agents with a roadmap to success.

Writing the book has been a dream come true. It was something I had thought about doing for 15 years before actually signing up with U48A and with their support and expertise I completed my memoir in five months from start to book in hand.  They were fabulous every step of the way. As a result of writing my book I have developed my business as an events speaker and coach and am on my way to achieving my life goals to help others achieve to their potential.

Writing a book was a dream, a bucket list item, something I never thought would happen. I wasn’t confident or secure in who I was when I first started writing but during the process, I experienced personal and professional growth. I published my book as a confident, secure, coach and warrior.

Writing a book is the culmination of many exciting processes. Everyone has a story to tell, and the thrill of getting it down and seeing it through each stage to eventually hold it in your hand, is something everyone should experience. Pure joy – a legacy for you to leave forever.

Writing a book firstly was a huge achievement for me. It allowed me to stay motivated and positive in light of everything that was happening around me, as I wrote it during the national lockdown from covid-19 in March 2020. It’s opened up other opportunities for me and has enabled me to branch out into other media. I’ve recently written a feature story of myself for a magazine called ‘Feminessence’ which I’m really excited about.

After creating The Ripple of Love as my life project, I wanted to immortalise my teachings, experiences and guides through a book. This book has given me the opportunity to get to every corner of the world, allowing me to help everyone become the best version of themselves by choosing LOVE, JOY and HAPPINESS over everything else.

I am amazed at how proud of myself I am by writing this book. The process was a learning journey in itself, but to actually be a published author is an extra feather in my hat! I love that people all over the world read and be inspired by our journey of our Adult Gap Year. It is even more surreal to be an Amazon Best Seller. I am more confident, proud, and now know I really can achieve all I put my mind to.

My business has accelerated since becoming an Amazon #1 Bestseller and I have become more widely known as an expert in my field.  My book has enabled me to be able to share my passion with many others and assist them to develop further.

Achieving Amazon #1 Bestseller was a game changer. It supercharged the interest and acclaim from my colleagues, many of whom had bought the paperback. Now they were recommending the ebook, and like a firework display, it keeps radiating out with excitement and sparkle As a counsellor, professional development trainer, supervisor and parent coach, my public profile has skyrocketed and the #1 bestseller status has re-energised and validated my passion and purpose.

I am absolutely ecstatic that I fulfilled my ‘one day I’ll write a book’ dream. The sense of achievement is incredible. An unexpected and humbling bonus has been a deluge of texts, calls, posts, and some truly wonderful  reviews from people who have read and loved my book.

Writing my first book, Edu-Chameleon, is a career highlight and has raised my professional profile. Being an author has given me greater confidence to share my educational knowledge and experience. Excitingly, the book achieved Amazon bestseller status and has generated interest from the media and event organisers. Every aspiring author can benefit from the support and publishing structure provided by the Ultimate 48 Hour.

Writing in such depth about sexual predators and the world of sexual violence has been rewarding and has laid an accurate foundation towards changing sexual violence culture. It’s an honour to be able to share my insights and provide a clear path towards a world without sexual violence. With the right knowledge, we can all create a safer future.

Never underestimate the power of being proud of yourself. You’ll move mountains. Becoming an author – a #1 Best Selling Author even – has been one of my greatest life achievements. I look in the mirror now with awe and say, “Did I do that?” She beams and whispers, “Yeah girl, you sure did.”

After I lost my husband and returned home to the USA during covid, I felt the need to write about the people who had done so much for me, becoming influential mentors, guiding me to new and satisfying life adventures.  Working within the Ultimate 48 Hour Author format made the writing and publishing of the book possible and satisfying.   I am now working on my next book.
